Hi everyone, so just know I was making my bun a toy out of toilet paper rolls(she was following me)and I put it down and I guess I slightly had my foot on her tail (not the bone). So, when I put down her toy she went for it and jerked back slightly (I was stepping on it) and got her toy and started playing with toy. I’m worried know I don’t think it hurt her since I stepped slightly on it, but still! I’m worried:(
Will she be okay what do you think? How can I tell if it’s hurt or broken?

I think she will be fine but, if it is tender to touch or you can feel it out of place you should get it checked. you will know of its out of place because a little bump, which is the bone, will be separate from the line of bumps. If she won't sit on it that is another way of seeing something if is wrong. I am sure she is fine though!

I felt it doesn’t seem out of place and she’s sitting on it fine too. Phew! Thank you for a reply :)

She should be fine since you slightly stepped on it. So as @bunnylove2024 said, unless their is a bone out of place or a large visible problem with her physically or behaviourally, I would stress.
Ive stepped on Apollo before, although I’m ashamed to admit it . He’s just too quick!

Thank goodness I was panicking. I know me too they are too quick! Sometimes She’ll be laying far from me then I look she right next to me like that. She scares me when she pops up like that;D

I just noticed I write ‘I would stress’! I need to check those things! I meant ‘I wouldn’t stress!’

I’ve done much worse to my bunnies. They truly are fast, I have the habit to not lift my feet and look where my bunnies are. But I have still managed to kick, step and close doors on them.

It’s like you see them across the room, lift your feet and suddenly you are tripping trying to avoid stepping on the bunny, that you just had seen was across the room. I have mange to sprain my foot while avoiding the bunnies.

I think the worse was when I closed the door on Odin’s small paw or when I accidentally stood on Lilja paw. But they always forgive me after a bit of bribing and I was lucky nothing happened.

Fortunately I don't have to deal with that but one of the rabbits I got was abused and is scared of doors. I think he would get slammed in them but it has never happed since I got him! I am so glad all of your raabbits are ok

I have never stepped on Theo, thank goodness, but my cats are another story. They always rub up against my legs while I'm walking and they always get in the way. I always manage to step on a foot, sadly.

I drag my feet know instead of picking them up sometimes (baby steps) ;D and ouch! no kidding I get hurt while trying to avoid stepping on them too but not as bad yours. I bump my head here and there.

Oo no poor baby, but I’m glad he’s in a better home with you:)
