Sunday my bunnie turned over her bowl (which she has never done before) and on the bottom of the bowl it had four rubber pieces so it wont move. I never if thought she would want to chew them out. I found some of the rubber on the floor so she didnt get it all. But she is still eating and drink her water I been changing her litter box every day soo I can watch her poops and see how much she is pooping... she is not pooping much at all and she used to poop alot when I changed her box. But like I said she is still wat her hay and treats and drinking water. What should I do? She is 8 months old.

Put her on a hay diet, for a couple of days. Keep her on that diet until her stomach becomes normal.

Rubber can clog up her stomach, but as long she’s eating and pooping. She will get it out.

It’s still not urgent for veterinarian. If she stop eating, directly take her to a veterinarian :3

Last week I had my bunny eating rubber and his stomach stopped working. He’s back to normal after the vet and being stuck on a hay diet until his stomach became normal ^^

I just called her vet and she told me that one of her rabbits did this and she said she gave her rabbit a cacker with coconut oil... the oil will help get everything out. Has anyone one else heared of this.

NO! So I'm very doubtful this vet is too experienced with rabbits. You do not want to give a rabbit a cracker with coconut oil. The best thing to improve gut movement and prevent a blockage occurring in rabbits, is lots of good quality medium coarse grass hay(any variety). The indigestible fiber in it helps move things along in a rabbits digestive tract. Starches(like the cracker) and sugars slow down the digestive tract, and things that your rabbit isn't used to eating like a cracker or the oil, has a potential to cause digestive upset.

I would stick with feeding lots of good quality grass hay, no sugary/starchy treats(her usual greens would be ok), and then just closely monitor her to make sure she's eating and drinking well, and her poop stays relatively normal. It's not unusual for rabbits to nibble on foreign objects and as long as large pieces or large quantities aren't consumed(and they aren't toxic), then usually it's not a problem and will pass right through.

I would also suggest finding a more experienced rabbit vet if possible.

I didnt think so... she isnt my vet I was just calling around to see if I could do anything at home. I didn't get payed until today i took her to the vet this morning and the vet said her gut feels great... everything looked good... she gave her some fluids... and we have a follow up on tuesday.

She is still eating everything I give her... she isnt drink much water but I am kinda making her know it's there and she will drink some... she isnt pooping as much as i would like her to but she is still pooping so that is a good sign. She also made me a bracelet last night. ( never thought I would talk about poop soo easy lol)

The vet also told me about giving her fresh papaya or pineapple. About 2 times a week she said it will help with hairballs and her little gut... but she also said something about papaya enzyme tablets. Does anyone know what is the best kind and where do I but these tablets I just want to keep my blue blue as healthy as I can.

Blue is my first bunnie and I am learning everything as I go. But sooo far I love being a bunnie momma!

I’ve never found anything (fact based with real research) about pineapple helping with stomach for bunnies and what effect it have. But I know for humans the enzyme bromelain (a enzyme in pineapple). helps with diarrhea and have many more effects on the human body. (read it in an article on pubmed)

Myself often give my bunnies little pineapple during heavy molting. And many people say it works great for the stomach of bunnies. If anyone can find the real research pineapple and papaya are based on for bunnies, I would love reading it :3

So you can try giving pineapple, it must have based on some research for so many veterinarian say it.
