Bun obsessed with cat

Bunny Foo Foo is OBSESSED with one of my cats. Just one though. My cats/dog eat in the kitchen where Bun has free range and every time Smokey (the cat) goes into the kitchen Bun goes NUTS!
She grunts at her, she chins her, she tries to get under her, she rubs all over her and licks her. Then last but not least, she MOUNTS her!

I know she's having some hormonal issues right now and she needs to be spayed. I actually just ran into my vet at the gas station today and I didn't think he saw rabbits, but he told me that he would spay her for me! (I guess thats a perk for going there my whole life!) So I'm going to call him in the next few days and set it up for her to get spayed.

Can a rabbit bond with a cat? Is that possible? Because she doesn't act like this when the other cats come into the kitchen, she is in love with this one cat! Its so strange.

Qtip says her best friend is a fat, orange kitten. If I hadn't taken her girl bits away (and his boy bits), they'd probably be in love. Cats and rabbits bonding is beyond adorable.

Spaying will at least cut down on this alot. She's trying to say to the cat YOU ARE MINE.

One of my cats loves the buns, he thinks he is one too. Andre (cat) will play, sleep, groom any bun that will let him. We have a split house on that point. Half of the buns like him back and half do not reciprocate his affections. Before Sophie was spayed she tried to hump the cat, who was less than pleased.

At least the humping should go away after she is spayed.

Harvey loves my cats and he's buddy is my older cat. I'll often find that Harvey will snuggle with my older cat. But he used to spray and hump them before he got neutered. haha.

Neutering lessens the humping behavior but does not eliminate it--several posts of Fraggles abusing a cat is a testament to the fact that rabbits are still territorial.
