We lost one of our buns to E Cuniculi a few weeks ago at 3.5 yrs old. Her sister has been going through the grieving process but has been doing pretty okay. She’s eating well and has started binkying as usual when the fresh veg comes out in the morning. And she is soaking up all the extra attention we’re showering on her.
One thing we noticed though is that since her sister is gone she’s keeping her ears lying flat on her back a lot of the time, something we hardly saw before. She seems to be doing normal activities like eating, digging, but her ears are down instead of up and listening.
We’re wondering if it is because she’s sad or just no longer listening for or signaling to her sister. Or if there is a medical condition...
Thanks in advance!
