Brr - It's cold outside!

I'm typing in my gloves still!

It snowed enough last night, I've been outside almost an hour shoveling my driveway and steps. Of course while I shovel it starts freezing rain.

We're supposed to get hit pretty hard so I put salt out as well. Now I'm just trying to thaw out so I can run to the store and get car food, as well as some spray on de-icer for my car.

I work overnights so I need to be prepared for tonites drive.

Of all the things I was thinking, not once did I think cat! I was thinking, did you want food for your car, to eat in, like snack-type food, did you just mean regular food but you put car by mistake, did you mean oil/gas lol....

Ohh, I hate the cold! We have been getting some snow, but not enough to stick. But it's getting really chilly. But probably not as cold as it is where you are!

we got a dusting last night and we're expecting 6 to 10 inches tonight. Ugh!

Yesterday morning I heard everything from 3-8" expected. My area probably got 5".

We were supposed to have another bad system come through around 4:00am but it didn't, as they thought. We just got flurries and then later, about 45 minutes of freezing rain.

I'm getting ready to wrap things up here and go to bed, but the radio is saying we should get another 4"+ starting around noon.

I'm probably going to break up my sleep today so I can de-ice my car in incriments instead of having to do it all at once when I get up and get ready to go in to work/

If it's bad out though I'm just not going in.

Ugh! Our cars and trucks are outside also. I hate de-icing! They said we might get sleet/freezing rain but now it's just snow.

Hubby is stopping to get goat feed, we have cat and dog and bunny feed, horse feed at the barn so we should be good to go.

I have lots of Vicodin from my dental surgery so I will most likely sleep! LOL!

I'm heading off to bed now. Stayed up later than I planned on, but the ice is coming down hard and I've made a few trips out with my salt to try to battle my steps and driveway. As of now I surrender.

I just got up and am going to *attempt* to head to work soon but honestly - I havent seen this much snow in AGES and it's still coming down.

We have about 6 inches on the ground and it's still just pouring! They said "2 to 3 inches" for our area....... HAHAHAHA! Radar shows no end. I feel bad for those dealing with the ice tho!

Today at my aunties who is in brisbane, it was 44 degrees celcius and their pool was 32!!!!!!!

I get off work at 6:30am. It's 8:20 am and Ive just now stepped foot in my house after driving back home and shoveling my driveway! My area is reported between 10-12" ofsnow.

We had the biggest snow in 13 years..... sixth largest snowfall ever since they kept records....... It's pretty intense in Indiana.....
