This morning when I came to let the bunnies out, both were in the top hutch, which is unusual for both of them to be inthere together. Perry was like a bunny possessed, pushing straw and hayinto a pile, then he jumped down with a mouthful of straw and wasrunning round putting it in a pile, and he had a wierd look in hiseyes. I saw this in Pernod some weeks ago, when she had a 'phantom'pregnancy and was making nests all over the lounge. Is itpossible for a male (Perry is definately a boy) to be broody and makenests, or is he just having a joke on his mommy?

We've had some males (who have sired litters)that have recently been gathering hay and showing "nesting" tendencies-- very funny to see the bucks carrying around hay in their mouths LOL

That's toofunny. Umbra a few days ago seemed bent on moving around thispile of hay that was outside of his cage. I had been cleaningup around my room (which always has hay in it these days), and there hewas, hay in his mouth, moving it around to wherever hepleased.
