Well, I'm growing Broccoli (actually doing very well!) and I've been growing it for the leaves mostly. Is broccoli leaves gassy? Or is it just the flower that is? My plants (6) have HUGE leaves (the size of my hand!). Pepsi had a problem before with gas, so if they're gassy I'll keep the feeding to a minimum

Thanks :).

(I'm having fantastic luck growing this year. I've been feeding the girls off my own stuff for the last 3 days :D-romaine lettuce, broccoli leaves, mint, and parsleywith occasional store carrot and apple :D.)

Well, I'm not sure if it was from the broccoli or cilantro. I started feeding her brocollibecause I had some from leftovers(I had been feeding cilantro too). I stopped feeding the broccoli when I ran out, but kept feeding the cilantro. Then about three days later Pepsi had the gas symptoms. So I really don't know. She hasn't had any problems yet with the leaves.
