hey guys,
I've never had a REW in my rabbitry before, but someone recently gave me a REW Mini Rex and she came bred to a red buck, I guess i'm just not sure what to expect as to what the kits will look like color wise or if they will be all solids or solids and brokens. Her dam was a broken blue. Any ideas?
Ps. the babies are due today :inlove:
Thanks :)

Chances are she could be genetically broken. Is the sire a solid?

You won't know until the babies comes. I'm guessing Reds and REW.If she gets broken reds then she is genetically broken. REWS are tricky. Since she is something other than genetically Red, you may get wonky colors or incorrectly colored reds. Good luck

The buck is a solid red with only solid reds in his pedigree, and for the doe, the dam is broken blue and sire is a REW, she has blues, opals and rews in her pedigree.
yeahh, I don't know why the previous owner would have bred her to a red, but whatever, baby buns are cute no matter what ;0

I think you will get castors. If the buck carries REW or dilute then you have many possibilities.
