One of my black and white broken mini lop does was left with a dwarf lop (brought them together at 8 weeks) to long and she had a kit, but it was all deformed and dead. She is now much older but breeding her, how will she be? I want to breed her with the same harlequin dwarf lop buck, also breeding him with an orange lion-lop doe too.

As long as she is healthy and has not been over-fed, she should do fine. It's possible her earlier problems were due to the fact that both the buck and doe were so young.

However, kindling/gestation problems can happen with any rabbit, so always be prepared to deal with the worst case scenario.

i'm not a breeder, have never bred, so what i'm saying is from research only and don't do anything just because of what i say. that being said......................

i would think it would be alright, because when their that small, it's like a 12 year old having a baby. yes she have a baby, but it's not good for mommy or baby. i think breeding age, depending on the breed, is from 6 months to a 1 1/2, generally, the smaller the breed the sooner they can breed(i think?). just fyi, this might get moved to the 'rabbitry and show room' forum. so if it disappears, you'll know where it's gone. and guys, if i said anything wrong, please please correct me:biggrin2:!!!!

good luck with what ever you decide to do!

Anna
