Possibly covering things like - what % deposit do you require to hold a rabbit - how long will you hold the rabbit - at what age do you sell rabbits- how do you accept payments - do you ship? - stuff like that.
:yeahthat: thats what I thought you needed. You should of asked more questions if you were unsure what i ment.I *think* it is more of a sales policy. Who will you sell to, what health guarantee can you offer, will you take a rabbit back of the owner can't care for it anymore. It can also include pricing, like pets start at $40 and show quality starts at $60. What is the minimum age you sell them, do you ship. Will you require a deposit to hold the rabbit. What will be your policy on people coming to your rabbitry. Will you include a pedigree for pet quality rabbits.
You should look at other breeders websites and look at their policy for ideas.
From the websites I have visited, I have found some similarities. Most breeders say that they sell healthy rabbits and will guarantee the health for 1-2 weeks. They don't guarantee against some diseases or if you change the food or introduce veggies too soon. Some breeders will take back a rabbit at any time for any reason, while others will only do it for a few weeks after the purchase. Most will not sell a rabbit before 8 weeks, but will take a deposit for a rabbit before then. Deposits are usually 50% of the price. Most will require the rabbit to be picked up at their home or at a show they are going to. Not many breeders ship, but if you will, decide how that will work. Many do not include a pedigree for pet quality rabbits, but will do a birth certificate with the parents names and birth date.
