Boyfriend made me cry...

Watership Down was on tv the other morning. Itwas at the end, where Hazel dies, and I told my BF to change it. Hethought I was joking, since the book made me cry like a baby. He leftit on and when it was over, I just started bawling. He looked at melike I was crazy. He asked me what was wrong, not even thinking it wasabout the movie. He thought that my leg was hurting, or something. Ifelt embarrassed, crying over a made up, cartoon rabbit, but the momentis so touching. I couldn't help it.

Just wanted to share.

I just bought the book and started to read it. Now at least I will be prepared at the end.

I have read it twice and I cried just as muchthe second time. I watched the movies, and I knew what was going tohappen, and I still cried.

I hope I didn't spoil the book for you, because it is an amazing book, and you should DEFINATLY read it.

No..it won't spoil the book at all because Ialready knew it was sad at the end. I would read it even if I knew thewhole story ..I didn't even know it was about rabbits until someone onthis forum mentioned itthe other day.
I started it and Ican already tell its a well written book and if its about rabbits then what could be better.

It is one of my all time favoite books, thatisn't a comic. My BF told me I should read it 2 years ago,before I knew anything about rabbits. He told me recently that when Icried at the end, he knew he was going to get me a pet rabbit.
