Boxer Meet Up...Day at the Dog Park

Just wanted to share some photos of the other furkid in my life, and the fun we had today at the Boxer Meet Up. I don't think the buns would have so much fun together if we did a meet up. LOL Elf is definitely a one-bun rabbit. She doesn't like to share her pets with anyone

There were probably around 50 boxers there all at the same time. It was like a sea of them as they were running and moving together.

This was the first time I'd been to this dog park. If I'd known that kids were allowed in, I would've brought mine with me. I will next time!

There were several puppies there this time. Some of them even had tails!

Where there be boxers...there will be boxing!

Yay! How fun!!! I love throwing "dog parties" We have about 6 dogs that live in our apartment building who come out to play together. Everything from Pit Bulls to a tea cup poodle. Dogs are like children, they LOVE to play with their "friends."

I would havedog napped this little cutie and brought her home with me!!

None of the puppies were for sale, or I might've "found" some money somewhere and had a new family addition

They definitely had a blast! One of the owners runs a Home-made Dog Biscuit store, so she brought Christmas Treats for all ...dog biscuits in the shape of gingerbread men.

I absolutely love the third one from the top. What a face!

It's really neat how dogs can just get together and have a blast. It really takes some strain off the owners too, since they don't have to be the only source of playtime. (You can't really do that with any other animal)
Those boxers look like they're having the best time of their lives :rofl:

When I was pregnant with Emily (and single...I didn't meet Danny until she was around three), I lived with my sister and their boxer, Daisy. She was the sweetest...she guarded my room at night because she loved me and could tell I was pregnant. In fact, she followed me around the house during the day and guarded me, too. She was really amazing...and so much fun!! I loved how when she wagged her tail, her whole booty would wag!! HEHE!!

I love seeing all those fawns (like Daisy was) and those gorgeous brendels!

Wow...that must've been fun...and what a cutie your Kirby is...I LOVE the smile he gave you in that picture. Boxers are such sweethearts, aren't they? They're so loving and wonderful...

When we buy a house in a year, I've GOT to get one. They're really amazing...

That is really awesome and it looks like so much fun :biggrin2:! In Phoenix I always see postings about a Bull Terrier club & meet up days.

One question, do all the dogs need to be spayed/neutered? Can dogs get pregnant if they aren't in heat?
A question I have always wondered about :huh.



Boxers are such beauties! I love Pit Bulls, and Boxers just kind of remind me of them.

Dogs can't get pregnant when they're not in heat And I'm pretty sure they allow non-fixed animals at meetups, but I'm not certain

Yes, they do allow non spayed/neutered dogs at this dog park. Some dog parks do not. The last dog park we were at allowed them, except for aggressive breeds (pitbulls, chows, and yes...they even included boxers).
