Emmit is a very sweet and socialable bunny, and welove that his (rather large)cage is in our room. Hedoes get at least 2 hours of outside-cage-time to exercise, but atnight when we got to bed (which lately has been around 1am), he startsgetting a little antsy around 5am. I think he gets bored ofhis apple sticks, or simply just misses the attention he gets whenwe're awake.

He has a little hut inside his cage which he will start to scratch veryloudly and quickly...and wakes us up everytime. SometimesI'll get up and calm him down, and he seems to like it, but I am losingsleep, and I don't want him to think it's okay to wake up mommy anddaddy every night.

We usually just end up taking out his little hut, which doesn't seem tobother him because he just ends up giving up and going tobed. We just dont like to take things out of his home, nor dowe like to be waken up everynight. He has plently of toys inhis cage, but he is only really interested in the apple sticks whichcan only last so long.

Does anyone else here have simular problems? If so, what can we do about it?

Thanks for any posts!

He is just being a bunny. There wake up time isabout 5am because they are most active at dawn and dusk. We have onewho will start with her bell between 5-6am. I found that I if they arebad and we want to sleep like on weekends ( during the week I get up at4am to get my husabnd to work) I give them a carrot and that does keepthem quiet for a while

Only a rabbit person could justify giving a treat to a "bad" bunny. LOL

Yes, Emmit has many toys, but he is only interested in afew. He has a toilet paper roll which he flings around onoccasion, a tossable carrot toy which he hardly touches, apple stickswhich he loves, and a pineapple treat toy which he LOVES when there aretreats in it...but we're looking for refills. he lovesbroccoli, but he's still pretty young (not even 4 months old), so i trynot to give him too much. I'm mostly worried about him notbeing stimulated when we're not able to be around.

We have ourrabbit in his cage in our bedroom, when we go to bed and early in themorning he chews on his cage and it wakes us up. We could put him inthe other room with his cage, but we like him in the same room withus. Our Pepper is to spoiled.

Mine also have lots of toys but also use themagainst us to get their way. They ring their bells drag rattles acrossthe cage bars. Throw all kinds of things including litter boxes. Afterwe are awake they like the more peaceful toys like TP rolls and stuffedtoys. They also like us to sing the songs about rabbits
