My bunny is 4 years old and spayed. So lately she has been in the habit of just sitting and scratching at her cage (when she is closed in or not). and when she is out of her cage, there is this one spot of carpet and a box I have out for her that she will scratch at. She she just continues to scratch very obnoxiously. My guess is she is bored, I tried giving her new toys, but no she insists to just sit there and scratching. What is wrong? What should I do?

My bunny loves cardboard boxes, he likes to sit on them and look over his land, lol. He also likes to chew on them. I was also thinking maybe she would like a treat puzzle: http://www.valuepetsupplies.com/living-world-teach-n-treat-toy.html?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=cse&utm_content=60960&CAWELAID=1338905498&catargetid=1650293829&cagpspn=pla&aid=450&kw={keyword}&gclid=CMu47Iesw7YCFUJN4AodsHMAXA You can also walk her outside on a bunny leash you can get them at Walmart or on Ebay. Here is a picture of my bunny on a leash:

Also, do not get a figure eight style harness, those can be dangerous for bunnies.

I hope you can find some toys your bunny likes! I see the picture of her in your avatar, she is adorable! :)

Awesome thank you! I do have a harness/leash for her. just have to wait till the ground isn't all muddy. I do have a box for her, I guess it is probably time for a new one. The one she has, id pretty well destroyed.

I have found my bunnies will get bored with a particular box. I now have a few that I trade out and also re-arrange to make new configurations. I'll cut out a doorway and then hang something over the entrance or drape across 2 boxes. It's the variety that keeps them interested. Try mixing things up, hiding a twig or treat in a box. Here's one of their well-worn (and chewed) boxes mixed with a newer one. (The multi-colored rug is hiding another doorway in the box)

You could give her a dig box. Either use a plastic storage box or a cardboard box. Fill it with shredded paper, torn up paper or phone book pages. Just check to make sure she does not use it as a litter box. One of Thumper's boxes in his village of boxes is one and he loves it in there.

All my ideas all are posted--one thing we do that ours like is to make a maze out of boxes placed inside a much bigger box. The current one is two story with an opening on the top--see "Cardboard Castles". Also, ours love it when I fill a huge litter box with shredded newspaper.
