hey my name is tiffany and i have 6 pets . a cat (o'malley), a yorkie (gus) two shar-peis (brody and zeeva) a turtle (digger) and of course my minilop butsy !!!

sharpei pics wont work . but they are cuties, i have one blue and one lilac.




soo anyways, i got butsy at a pet store ( i know i know, i should adopt. but i felt soooo bad for her) shewas in a small fish tank, it was all dirty. she looked so scared and she was alone. i asked to hold her and i knew i had to get her. icalled my mom in a panic and she said yes. i had been begging her to get a rabbit for 3 years now ! butsy hates to be picked up but loveeees her pats on her forhead. i could pat her for 5 hours and she would still want attention !. she gets along great with gus and o'malley but she is shy around humans. i recently brought her cage out into the livingroom so she could get used to people ! she is my first rabbit so i do have a lot of questions!! i am trying to convince my mom to get a buddy for butsy since she is alone all day while i am at school, work or whatever.. any tips how i cando that ? there is like 8 rabbits at the spca right now that need good homes !

sooo today i decide to let butsy out.. stupid me, i leave the bathroom door open .. she shredded 24 rolls of toiletpaper !!!!!!!!!!!!!1 . i spent over 20 minutes cleaning it up . . ugh

lol Butsy is adorable. My buns have made lots of messes for me to clean up but so far toilet paper hasn't been one of them. 24 rolls would sure make a huge mess. But I bet she had a lot of fun lol

weeeell, butsy is getting quite spoiled i think .. her fav. food is lettuce, and i was out of it yesterday, so i gave her some brocolie . she sniffed her bowl, and went poutting in the corner, allll day yesterday i tried to pat her and play with her, no way . she didnt even take a bite out of her brocolie lol !!! what do i do with that? haha. i tried giving her carrots today . hopefully that will cheer her up a bit ! Also, i went to the SPCA the other day to give a few old pet toys to the animals there, and i saw the saddest thing. there was a lion head bunny, they think he is one year old. horrible skin diseas, she had to be shaved and separated from all her other friends she arrived with . i felt SO bad, i wanted to bring him home !!!!!! . he was found in a cage next to an abandoned house . so sad

Oh goodness . I am so sorry to hear about the little lionhead!

Is your SPCA used to having bunnies there? Mine isn't, so I usually bring in some pellets and some hay for the bunnies that wind up there. If your shelter isn't prepared for a bun, I bet they'd appreciate a hay donation

yes they do often have rabbits, just last month they had 8 bunnies there ! only 2 left i think i will go bring hay tho, thats a goood idea and maybe butsy's old toys, she never uses them anyways lol

i just feel so bad when i go there, i want to bring everyone homeee ! haha , here are a few updated pics

there are a few pics haha , i will take more soon, i work a lot lately . anyways, the other day i noticed butsy had a wet nose, then yesterday i got home and let butsy out of her cage and she wasnt hopping around like usually . she was just laying there. so i went to pick her up, usually she runs away and she just stayed there, i put her back in her cage thinking she just wanted to be left alone . . . she hadnt budget allll night so i patted her, and noticed she was pretty cold. i was freaking out, my parents were out so i couldnt drive her to the vet.... i woke up this morning and she ate and stuff and seems much better.... i wonder what was wrong? im going to have to keep an eye on her !

i didnt touch the inside of her paws but yeah it was pretty warm . just yesterday she was laying down and her eyes were rolling back in her head so i took a freezy and rubbed her with it and she seemed fine after !!! my mom got air conditionning for her today and she seems great ! she is active and alert. i let her out of her cage all day, i feel so bad for her .it was 32 degrees outside today !. i'd like to bring her outside soon when its not to to hot . maybe this weekend or during an evening ! were going to a weeklong family reunion next week, im so exited. 400 people are gunna be there my aunt is going to watch butsy for me. she will have the run of her own week, so im sure she will be fine ill have to make sure i buy her A LOT of toys befor i go tho . she used to be free range just in my room and i noticed after a few months she started eating my walls lol. so i dont want her doing that at my aunts ! also, i saw 4 new bunnies at the spca . one seems suuuuper young . i might go pay a visit tomorrow with toys and hay .

oh yes, so worries for that !!!! i would never let any of my animals live outside ! i love them way to much haha and yes its VERY hot in newbrunswick !! its 31 today, 37 with humidity !!!

I saw that you gt your pet from a store, so did I and under some of the same conditions and i see it as some of those rabbits need saving just as much as one in a shelter.

yes i did get her at a petstore !!! i fell inlove with her. she was the last one of her litter because she is white with pink eyes . the pet store lady told me they never get sold! but i love herrr!!! so as i was saying earlier, butsy is going at my aunts house soon so i went out looking for toys for her so she would not get bored. i scored big time. i went to global pet foods and there is great stuff at great prices. here a few pics of playtime with butsy
