Working a full week then 1-10pm today, 7am-7pm tomorrow and 6am-6pm Monday. Then a full regular week of work after that. Shoot me!!! And I'm not feeling well either. My mom made me soup and I don't have time to go get it from her place. :( I can't believe I can't have mom's soup...wah...

You're lucky Patti!! I'm still looking for a job, but I don't mind working weekends so long as I can get the time to go to bunny shows everynow and then

I feel for the people that have to work weekends.

I only work monday-friday...8am-4pm...I work for a company called Palmer's (E.T Browne)they make...cocoa butter beauty product's....glad they don't need me on the weekend.

I have to say though that Palmer's is great cause their product's are not tested on animals! :D

I work for a bank and I work the most miserable hours. :( I hate the financial industry.

None of the classic bank holidays apply to me because we dabble in trading.

Cheryl, Does Palmer's sell in the USA? I am always on the lookout for good products made by companies that don't test on animals. I will be at Whole Foods tomorrow, will look for them there.

I used to have a job where I had to work all weekends (my day off was Wednesday). It really sucked! For me, personally, it wasn't so bad. But everyone I knew had weekends off, so I missed out on a lot of things. No, sorry, I cannot go see your band play at 11pm Friday night, I have to work at 7am the next morning! Just like last week!
Now I work somewhere that we most definitely do not work weekends, except for the occasional one here or there. I do have to stay late every Friday, usually the last one out of the parking lot, except for Security. So that's a bummer.

Beth...The Palmer's head office or whatever it's called is in New Jersey (i think),so i'm guessing they should sell around all of USA but i'm not sure...but i cannot stress enough how much i love their olive products, and not being tested on animals is just awesome.

I had to work weekends in other jobs I had and it was not good... I work at a school now and that "cycle" of days works best for me - but I do not get all the days off the students and teachers get - administrators and their assistants have to be there to run the ship even when school is not in session.

Hope you find some time to relax!

I work for a commercial bank, but work at home so my hours are pretty darn good!

Aw that's so cool. Every so often I'll work from home but it's rare. I like it a lot because I get to see the bunnies sleep during the day and I just love their sweet sleepy faces. :) that's when I post pix of sleepy Toby on my blog ;)
They let me out at 3:30 today instead of 7pm. They want us rested for 6am tomorrow so at least I have kinda half of Sunday :) I missed my Kirby so much. I laid sooo many kisses on him just now. Toby is sleeping otherwise I'd get him too. Now I gotta take a much needed nap!

I am so happy I no longer have to work weekends. I work in a surgery center now so our hours are pretty cut and dry.

I was a branch manager for National City Bank, back in the late 90's, and it was a stressful job. Banks are considered the bad guys for a smorgasbord of reasons, and even though banks are not bad, there is huge pressure on the employees to sell, sell, sell! things the customers don't need or want.

Hey guys I dont mean to rub it in but I get to make my one schedule, I do work nights from 6pm-2am (i work at a bar) But if I dont feel like going today I dont have to, so if i want to I just hav to be there by 9pm, It rocks :) its not a real persons job (a career) but it pays the bills till I can go back to school;)
