Hello everyone one ,can someone help I don’t really know what to do is around 1:00 midnight and I noticed there was something under my rabbit front leg skin when I looked at it it seem to be like his bone sticking out of his skin I am really terrified,I called there vet and they said as he is eat and acting normal i can wait till morning to bring him to the vet , but I am really scared and I don’t know what to do,has anyone any experience with that, could you please help?

Until you're able to get to the vet, please restrict your rabbit's space on rabbit appropriate, soft flooring so movement is as easy as possible and things like hay and water are easily accessible. Make sure your rabbit is still eating.

If bone is sticking out, something has fractured or dislocated and it is likely very painful so ensuring excessive movement doesn't exacerbate the injury is important until you're able to get to a vet.

Ok tank you so much for the advice actually he ate all of his pellets but not hay but all of his pellets, and I leave him in his room wich is quiet and dark so he was sleeping and eating his pellets but I couldn’t put him in a small enclosure because he hate the cage and if I had put him in the cage he would get even more sad and try to move the cage by his teeth so thats why ,and yes I have a vet appointment for tomorrow morning but do you think he will be ok ?is possible to make his hand bone back to normal ?

A rabbit-savvy vet paired with an x-ray will be able to tell you the extent of the damage and what recovery will look like.

In many cases of fractures (that are not skin protruding), one will restrict the rabbit for at least 1 month in a small pen so the bone can set as close to back to normal as possible. Movement might just be not 100% the same, but still perfectly fine.
