We had our second bonding session with Skittles our dominant doe and our new male Dandelion! Things started off on the wrong foot at first but everyone calmed down after a bit!(Mr. Spray Bottle was involved!) They got a couple of kicks and nips in before we spritzed them and seperated them. After that we set them beside each other and dried them off a little!! Skittles tried to get Dandelion to groom her but he was more interested in drying his nose!!
They seemed content to lay next to each other and let mummy pet them a bit. No more nipping! We decided to call it a day at this point since things were going good and they had been side by side for about 15 minutes without harassing each other!
Dandelion attempted a little half hearted grooming at the end!
We are going to do another session tonight after dinner with Skittles.Later during the week, if everything goes well between Dandelion and Skittles, we will introduce the two boys. Hubby is on holidays next week so we will be able to devote a lot of time to bonding the boys that way!
