I recently aquired my coconut (doe 8 weeks old) and started the bonding between her and scar (buck 1yr spayed rescue) and it all started going fine until he started showing alot of anger towards her (biting thumping even mounting her then he started trying to fight her) I was wondering if it was possible to bond coconut with one of her sisters? And if they would recognize each other (they have been apart for 2 whole days and i would be getting her sister today) Thanks in advance!

Bonding two babies is usually fairly easy. I would think it would fine with these sisters too. The only thing is that they could start fighting when they reach sexual maturity so a plan to get them spayed is a good idea.

Good luck! By the way I love lionheads so would love to see pics :)

Well turns out the sister got sold :( so i tried having them together a little today its better no fighting just some mounting. Coconut was submissive. So I was wondering if I gave up the bonding right now and got coconut fixed. And while shes healing putting scar in the permanent enclosure for them. Then after shes healed bring them both to a neutral place fr bonding then if and hopefully they do putting them in their forever home. Would that work? If i didnt explain that well i can try better. :)

I would not add either rabbit to the new cage until they can both go in there together. If you put 1 in there before the other, it will claim the cage as its own.
