hi I am trying to bond my 2 bunnies but have had no luck. Parsley seems to like Poppy but she isn't as sociable with him. they fight constantly and Poppy rips fur out of poor Parsley. I am aware that they will fight but i'm just looking for any tips on how else to help the situation. Parsley needs some advice :biggrin2:

xx Many thanks xx

Are they neutered? Once that is done, they should meet in a neutral place, where neither feels at home. Sometimes this is in a bathtub. Separate them if any hair ripping takes place.

my male is neutered bt the female isn't. is it a good idea to keep them totally seperate until she is spayed and completly healed before trying to bond them again? xx

they BOTH need to be fixed before they can be properly bonded - I would keep them separated for now.

the more they fight before she's fixed, the more difficult it will be to bond them later ><

:yeahthat:

Are you trying the bonding in neutral territory? If you are and it's still going badly, I would back off for awhile. I would make sure they can lay next to each other and sniff each other through the bars, but wouldn't put them together.

Good luck!
