I recently fostered to adopt a angora mix bunny name Bluebell she came from a hoarder situation of a house full of 150 rabbits. She was extremely malnourished you could feel all of her bones. I was looking for a buddy for my male rabbit Cadbury, and found her at a shelter. She was so sweet I instantly fell in love. I was not allowed to adopt her right away because she was so underweight she could not be spayed. So I offered to foster her and help her get used to my home while rehabilitating her and bonding my bunnies in the process. Well it worked out wonders she is now up to a perfectly healthy weight for her size. She went in to get spayed today and tomorrow I can take her home and officially adopt her :) I only wish I could have adopted more, they were all such friendly rabbits considering their situation.

Congratulations on your new adoption! She's cute :biggrin2: It's nice that you offered to foster her. I'm sure it was very practical for both you and the shelter as well. How is she doing with the spay?

She just got home actually they kept her for an extra day just to monitor her, she was treated by an exotic vet at my university so she was in good hands. Everything went well and she seems fine, just a little groggy.
