gah. i need help. i know there is a thread out there that has this info but i can't find it and the search function never seems to work for me, so i apologize in advance :)

i am looking for analysis on the blue seal pellets especially the rabbit 16 and rabbit 15. the pamphlet i have shows the max fiber and min protein, but not the min fiber and max protein. i couldn't find the info on their site either..

thanks :)

The minimum protein and maximum fiber are the numbers that will tell you the most about a rabbit pellet.

Protein is expensive, so pellet makers will only put in as much as required. Therefore, the minimum amount is going to the the amount they will put in. Saves money for them to have it as close to that number as possible.

On the other hand, fiber is cheap. They will pack as much fiber into those pellets as they can, so the maximum amount is what they will try to get in there.

You may also want to compare the fat values. You don't want a pellet too high in fat either.

I hope that helps!
