I am sure that person urging for a rabbit apprciates the blood you donated! My mom and dad donate blood but I am to young to.:( I wish I could help.

I am now over the 2 gallon mark of donating blood by a pint today! Somewhere, there are people walking around now who have an uncontrollable urge to havea rabbit.;)

How funny!

Well done!:thumbupI think giving blood is such an amazing thing.:) I would love to give blood myself but I am majorly needle-phobic and am honestly terrified of the thought.:?And of coursebeing 17 I no longer have the age excuse.:pI'll prep myself up to do it...one day!:?

I am, however, on theorgan donor register. I joinedwhen I found out that my best friend may need a kidney transplant in the not so distant future.:(Seeing how much she goes through every day kills me and it really does scare me to think of all the people out there who desperately need an organdonation but there are none available. And also, if Iwere to die prematurely, I can think of nothing better than for people to be able to live from my death.:)

Well done! :)

I would really like to be able to give blood but apparently I can't because of my surgery(s). I think there's a certain amount of time you have to wait after having surgery before you can give blood again, and every time I get past that point, somehow I wind up back in hospital! :rollseyes

That's quite the achievement - well done!

I have given blood a few times, but it used to take ages to 'get it out of me' and I always ended up fainting :?. So, they advised me to not do it for a few years, but I hope to go back to it.

Dave, amazing to think of all the lives you have saved with 2 gallons :)
