I let my girls have a cotton towel to lay on inthe cage. Yesterday, when I got home, Baby had a threadcaught around one of her teeth and couldn't get it off. Shewas dragging the towel around by the thread, trying to get itoff. I felt terrible! The poor thing may have beenthat way all day! I gently removed it and gave her lots ofloves. She didn't seem upset, so maybe it had just happened.

What is the safest thing to use? Baby blankets?

Hi Laura!

I'm very fortunate in that none of my bunnies eat their blankies.

They chew, lick, groom, pat, and sometimes even fight with their blankies. But haven't consumed them as of yet.

We buy baby blankets from the "Dollar" store and cut them up as per our bunnies' instuctions.

When they get soiled I just replace them.

My female bun kneads her towels. My male digs on them. Silly rabbits! :p
