My bunnies are destroying all the wood moldingand door frames within their reach. Can I spray bitter appleor vinegar to stop them? Is there something better? My husband is getting really mad about it.

I've used both Bitter Apple and the hottest tobasco I could find to no avail.

I would suggest covering furniture edges and legs with duct tape and/ortin foil. We found out about both much to late for our furniture, but both prevented our "chewer" from doing any more damage.

Rabbits are such individuals that it is difficult to make generalizations about topics such as this.

Goooood Luck! Let us know what you find that works. We're always willing to learn something new, here.

My neighbor has a dog that chews EVERYTHING.

He tried about everything, including Bitter Apple & tobasco, to no avail.

One product that did work was "Yuck No Chew Spray"byNaturvet. He got it at PetSmart and said it worksreally well. Now he just shows the bottle to the dog and the dog stopschewing.

My bun is doing the same thing. For now, we putvinegar on the door frames and it's working pretty well. We'll betouching up the paint and putting on plastic corner guards this weekend.

Bitter Apple did work for us, so it is worth a shot. We had issues with our rabbits chewing on the moulding and chair legs too.

Another thing we did was as soon as they began to chew, we'd distractthem with something else to chew on. Also, never forget a good olespray bottle and a firm NO! to get them to stop.
