hello, this isjust random. buttoday i bought bitter apple spray for the first time, and no it's not for the buns it's for the puppy.. oddly enough she is worse about chewing on things than any of the bun buns lol..any rate i sprayed it on a paper towel first and touched my tongue to it firstbecause after all if it's gonna go into my baby's mouth i have to sample it. NASTY!!! my hubby says "only your would do that" I disagree, tell me honestly who else out there would also do this?

so I bought it because she keeps trying to chew the collars off of the other dogs. Yes I can always remove their collars, but should one of them slip out the door accidently they wouldn't have a collar on, then what?

So I'm hoping this bitter apple will help. it's just funny, the buns trained to if i stomp my foot or slap my hand on the floor they stop chewing whatever they are chewing, the pup much more stuborn and persistant.. And yes have been trying for a few months to get her to stop chewing the collars but no go.. cross your paws this stops her ;)

When I was looking for "bitter spray", my fiance and I stood in the section at PETsMART and tasted EVERY SINGLE "bitter spray" in the store. Hey, we needed to see which one was really gross!

We found that, this one, was by far....the WORST tasting stuff in the store:

After I tasted it, I had to buy a soda and sit in the car while Ryan bought the product. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for a few hours. It was horrible.

Suprisingly, this product has bad reviews and dogs actually don't mind the flavor. I used it for the rabbits to stop chewing the wood at first, but they didn't mind the flavor either, lol.

I got that bitter apple stuff because our dogs were chewing their new 200 dollar wooden doggie condo.Ieven wore a mask when I sprayed it but it got through the mask and I could still taste it the next day.Yuck! It stopped the dogs from chewing though, so it was worth it.
