Whatis your favourite girly movie(s)? You know the films that you just love to curl up on the couch with a big bar of chocloate and a duvet and watch, or the films you adored at the cinema?

My personal favourite is definately 'Sex And The City, The Movie' I have always liked the series and love this film! I am a bad sleeper and need noise to go to sleep, so I watch this film every night and it never get's old, so funny!

My next favourite has to be Mean Girls, me and my friends are always quoting out of it especially ''fugly'' and ''Oh, Kevin G!'' and loads more, legend of a film!

I have loads more films but I can't think of them right now, what about you guys?

VERY off topic, but it was in the news today they are doing a SATC film sequel. Thought that might interest you :)

DIRTY DANCING!!!!

I've watched it a million times(probably more like 30+:p) but I still love it. Who doesn't love patrick swayze! Definitely my favorite movie. It always cheers me up. PLus its always shown on tv so I get sucked into watching it anytime its on.

Pretty woman is another classic that I've watched a ton of times.

Princess bride is also pretty sweet.

Sweet Home Alabama, Dirty Dancing, Something's Gotta Give, Pretty Woman, The Bodyguard... Must not forget Bridget Jones' Diary, BOTH films, Love Actually...

I could go on! :D Girly films are my favourite!

Mean Girls, Bring It On are the 'up-beat' girly movies I love.

For more sad, depressed, my-boyfriend-just-dumped-me-and-I'm-going-to-eat-nothing-but-chocolate films it would have to be Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Sleepless in Seattle.

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

I would love that too! I don't think it was a great film so to speak, but as an extended episode, I LOVED it! I pretty much cried my eyes out though lol :p I keep forgetting to get it on DVD....

Ya it probably wasn't good to people who didn't follow the series, but I loooved it, one of my favourite films.
I watched all the series! I think there's only a few episodes I haven't seen lol. I cried my eyes out at the very last one, when Big went and rescued Carrie in Paris and then they went back to New York...

They show them on Paramount comedy I think quite often.... I watch them when I can but Steve hates it lol :p

Aw I know it was so sad! Personally, I think she should have never stayed with Big, like how many times has he let her down and then they got back together. I cried in the movie when she is on the phone in her wedding dress and is waiting for him and he says he's not coming, it was really sad!

I love SATC, my best friend and I used to watch it together when it was on HBO. That was when we lived in Georgia together. Now I'm back in NC and she's in VT :( When the movie came out tons of women got together dressed to the nines to hit the bars before going to the movie, which is what Amanda and I would have done if we still lived close, which REALLY made me miss her so I didn't want to go opening night. Instead the Monday after it came out Chris surprised me by taking me to the mall under the pretense that he wanted to buy some shoes but took me to see the movie!! He's great. The theater was still packed and he got a kick out of watching all of the girls' reactions (including mine)during certain scenes.

Oh gosh, I'm watching Dirty Dancing right now (and notice it's been mentioned here a few times)...it's right at the part where Johnny shows up at the last night performance and says, "Nobody puts Baby in a corner"

:biggrin2:
