Well we are having our annual adoptothon weekend at the shelter and the theme is "Wizard of Oz" (Fri, sat, Sun.)
I went to the shelter today and haphazardly ended being given the role as being the Witch from the Wizard of Oz because the costume fit me.

I have to wear green make-up, go find some pointed toed shoes and broom and I will be all set ..
Don't really have time for this but that's life

hope that it doesn't interfere too much with my time on-line

I'll do the best that I can ..............

Don't forget - Elphaba (the green witch) was actually an advocate for animals, and wasn't really bad; a lifetime of being misunderstood led her down adarkroad.

From Wikipedia: "Elphaba portrayed as an aspiring revolutionary, perhaps inspired by her childhood days in Quadling Country, whose ecosystem and people were stricken by the government’s ruthless ruby mining and road building efforts in the area. She is shown as a passionate supporter of Animal rights (Animals, as opposed to animals, are capable of speech and advanced thought). Elphaba speaks out against Madame Morrible’s anti-Animal poetry and over the summer works with Doctor Dillamond, a Goat, to find the biological difference between Animals, animals, and humans. She protects a Lion cub in a life sciences class and refuses to eat meat that could have come from Animal sources. Her revolutionary goals fade after her failed assassination attempt on Madame Morrible’s life and the death of Fiyero at the hands of the Wizard's guards."

Cool; have fun!

That sounds like a lot of fun. I hope your shelter has a really good tunrout. If a shelter did that around here I would go, not that I would adopt a bunny but I would go and maybe donate so I didn't feel bad not helping in some way. I hope you get some pictures to post.
