So, as many of you know, my fiancee is a Farm Vet.

He did a call out on the Bolivar Peninsula, hit hard during Ike. He had to pee.. and since there's not even a house standing.. much less running water, he just looked for a secluded spot..

So he's just standing there.. looking up at the sun.. and then he hears hissing...

Snapped this with his camera phone..

It was only about 3.5 to 4 feet.. was very lethargic and then, prolly due to lack of food..

The guy he was with made a noose out of the red wire you see near him, and a stick.. and Squidz tapped his mouth shut with the electrical tape they got off a contractor..

A rehabber was called and took the angry gator off..

Of course you know, with Squidz being Australian.. I had to hear *Crikey, she was a beaut* jokes..like all day..

It was a four foot gator dude.. I have seen bigger skinks... but then again, I guess if I was caught off guard with my junk hangin out by a reptile with sharp teeth, I might be a tad excited meself..

Honestly? This picture is so *unimpressive* as to the size I was half convinced it was a little baby that had some thin stripped wire around it's mouth (haha)...

Holy COW!

I would have just fallen over dead.

There are only two animals I can say I really fear. Cows and Alligators/Crocodiles. Heck, I haven't even gotten back into the Missouri river after seeing pictures of Alligator Gar in the Conservationist magazine. I don't care what anyone says - those fish dont reach 300# by being bottom feeders. They are simply legless alligators IMO.
