I was looking around for things I could use astoys, and I discovered this basket making reed...http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?CATID=83518&start=1Ihave a feeling this is an online only product at this store, but, sincemany baskets are safe, would this be a safe item?

I'm not sure that I'd actually order it, I'm just curious.

Hi. These are rush, according to the website.However most "rush" sold today is imitation, a heavy twistedpaper & not the natural plant fiber. If untreated it should beOK.
