I've just noticed some bald spots on one of thebaby bucks. When I back brush him I've noticed he has quite a couple. The skin there is very shiny too. I would have said it was due tofighting but the babies haven't been fighting as they all get on well -He has never had cuts or anything as I check them over, brush, cuddle, hug, etcloads so I would have definatly noticed if he hadbeen hurt in the past by fighting. He isn't malting either so it's notthrough that. If anyone has any ideas i will be grateful to hear them -It's not a big deal I'm just curious :?to how they got there

Hi Vickie,

If it's not shedding, you might check for fleas or flea dirt for thehair loss. Feel for any unusual bumps or scabs.Look for dry-flaky skin that looks like dandruff.

Have any of the others got bald spots? Ive checkedthe girls and they are fine. Have they had a tiff at all? May have beenpulled out. Nah i doubt it they're too friendly!

Thanks Carolyn! I have checked for signs of fleas and nothing! They are white so things like that are not that hard to miss :D!

QT - Yeah I've checked the others and no bald spots there either.

I'll just keep my eye on him and if there is anything I notice untoward I'll take him to the vet!
