Is Bahai Hay good for rabbits? I can buy bales for 5.00 in my town. I live in Louisiana. They guy I'm getting it from it from grows it for horses. No weeds or chemicals are used for his hay.

all grass hays are acceptable for bunnies, as the main thing they get from it is fiber - Bahia hay is a grass hay, so horse-quality Bahia would be just fine :)

So if I get s baby it will ok or do i have to have the other stuff?
--baby bun diets are a bit different try this link http://www.medirabbit.com don,t wean them early--some people sell them far too young and they develope health problems and or die---the wost time to be a rabbit is easter--sincerely james waller--:happybunny:

Well I dont think I will get a baby. I have a 9 month old right now. His name is Spaz. After the Holidays I am getting him neutered. He is a min Rex

If he is 9 months, then grass hay is best. As bahai hay seems to be a grass hay, then it should be fine.

Young rabbits, under about 6 months old, can have alfalfa hay. It can be good to give both alfalfa and a grass hay so they get used to eating both and it makes the transition over to just grass hay easier.
