How old is the bunny? How long have you noticed this appear? Has the bunny (Peter) had any issues previously with his eye or any respritory issues?

I know abcesses can develop with something like Pasturella, though since I havn't dealt with this personally I don't know about it being an abcess.

I've had Peter since October 2009, and he was a couple months to a year when we bought him. So he's about three years. It's been here for maybe three weeks. And he hasn't had issues with his eyes before, it started out as his normal eye color with just a small dent in his eye (not a real dent, just like maybe if Neiszah's claw caught him).

The dent was a light blue color, then his eye started to turn light blue and the dent got lighter. That's when the red started to appear (on the outer parts of his eyeball), and eventually (over the span of maybe a week) it began to spread over the eye. I cannot recall from the last time we made it to a vet if he did have any respiratory issues.

Also, LakeCondo, I really wish I could bring him to one (I feel so guilty about not being able to) but the nearest vet is maybe six hours away. My rabbits do not get sickly often. I just want to be sure it's something decent enough to go before I do.

Btw, yes, I would definitely take the bunny to a vet. Bunnies usually hide illnesses, if it's showing it's not a good sign. I personally never saved a penny when it was about my fluffy friends' health. Rabbits can die suddenly, when you least expect, and might make you feel guilty forever for not having been able to save a member of the family.. :nerves1:in tears:
