So things are getting quite serious with Kinobe.
He is literally become the bane of my existence :p

He won't stop chewing wood on our rented apartment. I am not even sure what to do, so much wood is gone from our door frames. I have tried every spray, cream, hot sauce, soap, everything!

Then he keeps digging up random carpet. Not corner carpet (I blocked all those off) but random middle chunks.

He will poop/pee perfectly in his bathroom box, but poops outside of his living room box. I have tried 2 different types of boxes. The box we have now thank god he will finally pee in (It is the corner he chose; but for whatever reason the earlier litter box he would just pee outside of)

He knocks everything over..I don't mean things we leave out..I mean our dining room chairs..ect ect.

He will chew on anything; including our leather couch.

He now has a habit of STEALING food off plates.

Him and Anakin fight all the time. I can't even have on caged and the other one is out. They were neutered in July.
The biggest problem with this is Anakin and Chewy are in the bedroom and Kinobe as the rest of the apartment. But Kinobe will sit there, dig, chew, ect at the door to get it.

At first I thought he wanted to spend time with chewy..but once they are out together HE WONT leave her alone. He is so rough with the dominance humping! She runs away and once she squealed because he bit her neck to hard.

I can't get him his own girl because of my boyfriend. But idk if it is even that considering he is so mean to Chewy. I have tried putting them together numerous times to see if he is just excited..but it is the same thing every time.

If I discipline him for chewing on wood (By snapping my fingers and and saying no) he will try to act all tough and grunt. He bit me twice but that has stopped since when he started lunging I started holding his head gently to the ground (He gets it now that I am in charge)

Basically...its is 99% bad most of the time. The only 1% is when he does cute bunny flops or binkies. :p

I just don't know what to do..I have tried all the advice everyone has given me on RO and what not. Oh, for a list of toys, I have a maze haven, boxes, magazines/books, wicker balls, rattles, wood toys. I mean you name it, I have it. So I don't think it is boredom (Esp since he plays with all those toys)

I don't know if I am asking advice or just venting :p lol, Sorry RO~

i've recently had the problem of carpet chewing and base board chewing. all i did was make a pen in the corner of the room he has free time and when he starts on the bad habits i put him in it for a "time out" for an hour or so. then i try again. you have to do it as he's chewing. if you do it 10 minutes after he's had a go at the chewing then he will be confused as to why he's being confined. it might take a bit for him to get the hint, but it's starting to work for my boy.

Well well well !!!! Me too !

To Myia09,
Ahh it must be a very tough time :( My girl used to chew on everything. We have only her. I agree with other, he needs to be penned. For me it works. Kimiko redecorated our rented apartment too, starting from carpet, wardrobes, cupboards,bed,... etc. We put her in a pen when she chewed on thing. At first few days when we put her in it, she tried chewing it too :thud:Then she started to get a hint. When she bit or chewed on something, one of us will say " Kimikooooo ! " and last thing we noticed is that little white fluffy girl ran as fast as possible to hide in her cardboard box. It took a while for her to stop chewing on thing. She just spayed yesterday. So we will see if it will totally be gone. But lately she didn't chew on things that often and when she did that, she knew that she will be grounded. She hopped slowly to us and begged for treats or mercy, I'm not sure :D

I think this is a fantastic idea.
