Hello from Slovakia! I really need your help. I have two bunnies, male and female, both are fixed (since november), they are bonded and litter trained. My female rabbit has started to act like an unspayed rabbit. She humps the male rabbit, grunts, pees and sprays urine everywhere, sometimes she has hay in her mouth....Now, after more than one month of this behaviour, my male rabbit is getting tired....and I have enough, too. What can I do?

Hmmm, interesting! It could just be that it's spring time and she's acting a bit crazy.

It could possibly be a false pregnancy, but I don't know if that's really possible in a spayed female.

It could also be a hormone imbalance that is causing her to feel this way. It might be worth a trip to the vet to find out.

My mini-lop does this a lot, and she's spayed. (Or I was told she was). She's always 'nesting', building huge nests in her carrier with hay and hair. She gets frantic and cranky when she does. And she's always humping her boyfriend (usually to get him away from the food dish because he's such a little piggy).

And she has terrible litter habits when anything changes in her habitat, but that goes away after a few months of setting in.
