Heh, with everything that has gone on over the past few days, I decided to head straight back to work. I called in on Thrusday and I start tomorrow.

Ugh, working in a toy store at Christmas :faint:This will be me til mid January :run::craziness:hiding:Lol. The store is a tad smaller than a Toys R Us and we are more specialized in educational games.

The most typical client walks in, looks for a salesperson and goes:

"Ok, for a7 year old, find me something.

Me= *Thinks of getting the binoculars to quickly scan the store to pick something out*:faint:

"Anything in particular? Toy, game, art, etc. ?"

"Nope, just find me something fast. It's gotta be awesome. For 10$. Do you guys wrap? Oh and do you know a good wine?"

:?

Man, and I was soooooooooooo looking forward to not working during the holidays. This is my 4th year with the company making me an ancient employee :pI hope ancient means I get to stay home on Boxing Day. Lol! I hope I can remember how to work the cash right :pI must be rusty. I do love selling that perfect gift and it's awesome when my clients bring me pics to show the kid unwrapping it :biggrin2:Annnnnnd I get to wear my Christmas hat, christmas mittens earrings, and just be my jolly rusty self :p

Anywho, wish me luck, lots of patience, but most of all the health to do it as I am technically on sick leave though no one knows.:embarrassed:

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Soph-I'm so glad you're trying to keep your spirit. I can't imagine how hard this all must be for you. I'm very proud of you. Keep me posted on how it goes, share funny stories too. Haha, I could use that, you can vent...:p.

Good Luck!

If you get a choice between christmas eve and Boxing day, go for christmas eve. You don't have to deal with the hords of people wanting to exchange things and buy cheap things. Probably clamer on Christmas eve, fewer people needing things and you to help them.

just a tip. Have fun being used by people who can't be bothered to find things by them selves. :biggrin2::pullhair::goodluck
