Back sailing

I love sailing - have done so for 30+ years.

Got back in the boat I sail on competitively - an Ensign - she's about 22 feet long. We were short a third crew member so we could not fly the spinnaker (the big colorful sail used downwind and on reaches), but even though the spinnakeer boats were way ahead of us, we closed the gap going upwind in light air and placed with the rest of the fleet.

It was just a tease as the owner cannot race for the next two weeks as he and his wife will be in the Virgin Islands...

Sailing is such fun! My husband ocean races on a 52' Beneteau.

I've sailed a laser for 7 years, had to give it up two years ago.

Did the Laser thing from the age of 15 to my early 20s... have sailed on Beneteau 323s, Alberg 30s but my first love is the 12 meters... if you notice, my horses are named for my favorite 12 meters... Weatherly, Freedom... had an Independence, an Enterprise and a Courageous (RIP).

Onalinda the Ensign is my latest boat I sail on. She's an older girl but has competitive owners and we love making her win.

nothing greater than a day out sailing. I plan to own a larger yacht when I've settled down, take my rabbits out sailing with me on the fine days. I wonder if they get seasick.

I am not sure how rabbits would perceive boat motion...
