Back! But going again!

So, I got back from my weekend away at my nan's 80th birthday celebrations yesterday evening. And now, I'm going away again!

Because we had to cancel our holiday to Kefalonia a couple of weeks ago, Steve is taking me to the Lake District for a couple of days. We're leaving soon and will be gone until Wednesday evening. My mum is looking after the buns for us!

The Lake District is absolutely beautiful, and I love it there. It's sort of a tradition for me and Steve to go there for little breaks about once a year, as it's where he took me when we first got together 3 years ago! We really need a break right now and to chill out for a couple of days...

I'm back!!! We got home not too long ago.

I was soo worried about leaving the buns- we'd only left them for one night before, so we were really glad to get home to them! They were so pleased to see us too! I got lots of Chalk kisses and even Snowy was up for nose rubs... They were naughty though! I might post about it in the other forum soon!

Anyway, our little break was so great. Our hotel was lovely- we had the biggest room, and it was huge! The spa bath was great, and the shower was so powerful that it almost knocked me over lol We ate in the hotel on the first night, and it was seriously posh stuff- I had trout that was freshly caught from one of the lakes a few miles away Yesterday, we went for a drive to some of the other lakes and up the mountains, but the weather was a bit too grey and rainy to get many good pictures. Today, we went on the ferry up and down Lake Windermere, and fed the ducks. A swan pecked my bum LOL!

I took about 8GB worth of pictures! :shock::shock::shock: I can't upload them just yet though because my hard drive is full, lol. I'll have to sort it out tomorrow and upload them

It's nice to be back home with the buns, even though I'm soooo tired! Got lots of catching up on RO to be doing I think!
