I finally felt alive enough to de-furr the kids and get some shots. I only took a few, and they aren't the best, but you can at least see them. haha It's still cold out, so I didn't have them out long enough to really check over their markings or anything but none are charlie marked so all is well.

Next hurdle...figuring out colors. LOL

Aww! They're so cute especially the broken lilac (I think?)

Awww - BABY BUNNIES!!! They're SO ADORABLE!!!
I like the fact that you didn't use flash in the pics, the bunnies say THANK YOU!
And we say THANK YOU too, for sharing these special pics with us! I had never seen baby bunnies like yours! Congrats!

Thanks! I think there are 2 broken lilacs and a solid lilac...and then 5 something darker. LOL Not sure about the one darker solid, because it's legs aren't dark. So maybe a broken with just the legs going to be white? I really have no clue, especially without hair and weather too cold to have them out of the nest box very long to really inspect and scrutinize. :)

LOL! I can assure you there are chestnut agoutis in there. LOL What is the difference in coloring (at birth) between a steel and a chestnut agouti?? Evans said there is a bigger chance of getting GT'd black steels than chestnut agoutis but can't find anything that states what they look like before hair.

If you're only keeping chestnuts... Then what about Max?!?

Oh! Max isn't going anywhere, ever!!

I'm hoping the dark ones are all chestnuts. Using that darn opal buck resulted in 4 babies that ended up looking like opal chins. :-(

lol on a broken with very little color I think test breeding is they way to figure out what they are genetically. I have a powerpoint explaining genetics but I havent gone through to try and understand it. Did you post up on rabbitaddict?
