This really is a GOOD thing. I can't believe that there wasn't something like this before all of these issues happened.

Most of the stuff in there is "common sense" for good breeders but I hope that it will be a wake-up call to some of those that aren't following these rules.

I'm glad that they're pushing this now. It can only make us all look better when ARBA shows that they are dedicated to informing people on how they should be caring for their rabbits.

Well, ARBA had a guide before, but it was the BARE minimum required. I think if everyone were to implement these changes (I know a lot of breeders that use cages that are too small, to fit more rabbits into limited space) it'll go a long way on improving the "breeding image" that's currently out there.

This is very random, and probably overly nit picky, but when reading that link on the section where it lists housing based on breed, I noticed Californians weren't there at all! Obviously that has little to do with the requirements, but as a Californian owner I don't like to see them left out lol. (correct me of I missed something or am wrong)

On topic, I'm glad they've come out with these recommendations. Though most responsible breeders, the ones that would pay attention to guidelines, already follow these recommendations. Maybe it will start trickling down to these breeders that don't take care of their rabbits though.

I noticed the same thing, and my daughter feels a bit left out. LOL I guess Cal breeders are mature enough to figure out how much their bun weighs and cage accordingly? haha
