Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone could give me any helpful tips on showing! I have my first show on September 11th.

Any info would be wonderful! :)

Showing 2 californian does. One question I had was... one weighs 5#6oz and one weighs 5#10 oz. They are 5 months old. Does that qualify them as "intermediate" class?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me! You all have been so wonderful in answering my other questions!

Yep its the same one. I breed Netherland Dwarfs and Lionheads. I also have mini rexes but am selling them in order to have the barn space to get into thriantas instead. My step dad is remarrying in Martinsburg at 3pm, (which is like 25 min from show) so I will be at the A.M. show. I know I am going to attend, still deciding on if I am gonna try to show any of my nethies....but I am definately gonna show at the RRBA Dec show (near Richmond)

Intermediate has to do with age, not weight (although if you had an animal that was a junior/intermediate, but was overweight for that class, then you could bump the animal up to Senior class).
How old are your does? That will determine whether they are juniors, intermediates, or seniors, although I'm guessing you've already filled out the entry form?

They would probably be seniors by September 11.

Is this the first time you are showing, or the first time you are attending a show?

Well, if your rabbits under 6 months its a junior, over six months is a senior. Good luk at the show! are you showing meat pens?

This depends on if the breed is a 4-class or a 6-class. ;) I can't remember if Californians are a 4-class or 6-class right off the top of my head, and I don't have my Standard sitting here...haha.
