As a VIP...

.. I obviously have 'special skills' Like I can edit threads and stuff (although I haven't been). Erm, I'm wondering if this is done as a blanket for all VIPs, or if it is possible to change it for one person, for example, take away my 'special skills' for editing threads.

If it's not possible to do things for individual people could someone who can change my group please contact me (admins?) because I have a feeling I need to be removed from being a VIP-at least temporarily (I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm actually trying to prevent a bit of a trauma).

I think the original plan was to give VIPs temp editing powers in order to get people to correct the words-running-together errors. I don't know that too many did, that campaign never really did what I hoped. Have to revisit. I can suspend them for all -- I think. And reassess.

I had completed my pages but of course they moved so I go check and do a half a page about once ever 4 days or so.

Ah, I see what happened. I gave all VIPs EXTRA powers that were only supposed to be for a few days so they could help with editing everybody -- it was easier them moving the VIPs who volunteered into the Task Force.

VIPs can always edit their own posts, but temp powers were editing other people's titles, etc.

That was only supposed to be activated for the special week-long editing binge. That's not part of the VIP perks.

I used to be able to edit other people's posts for a while. I just checked but it doesn't seem to be an option anymore...

Ijust lost my abilities to edit or correct any posts by me or other members.
I can't even edit my own posts after .2 of an hour.
