Lately Kirby has been pretty much been demanding to be given scritches on his head, to be pet, hugged (on the floor) and generally loved to bits. :p

He won't take no for an answer... I get nose-bonks and pawed at, even little nips, until his demand is satisfied. And I mean, really satisfied. A couple minutes of petting will only get me so far. A couple minutes later he's back demanding more. It isn't till I have spent like a solid hour smooching him all over and he's become a puddle of bun on the floor that he is finally had his fill. I love that he is so outward about getting affection but I feel guilty because while I'm spending time with him during his playtime, Toby is in the rabbit room demanding to come out to play.

I also think that his relentless need to be loved is slightly damaging to my bonding attempts. Toby is sort of a wildcard as he is still young. He's kind of aggressive and will chase. But Kirby is firmly the one who sits there and won't budge until you groom him.

I suppose there's nothing I can do about this... I spoiled Kirby for a year and a half to get him to like me. :biggrin2:

Cinna is pretty determined and will let you rub her ears and kiss her for ages. Romeo looks to be taking the cake in that department though - he will crawl right up on me while I'm laying down and NUDGE. Not a little nudge - a BIG NUDGE! I don't know how he nudges that hard considering he's a pretty little bun but he certainly makes himself known and then settles in, tooth purring away as he falls asleep in bliss! LOL

My bun isn't quite so demanding, but as soon as you get near him his head hits the floor and he wants to be petted. It's to the point where we can poke him and try to annoy him, and he just puddles out and acts like we're giving the best pets ever. Haha. As long as you're touching him, he's happy!

It took us at least 8-10 months to get to this point, so we can't really complain.

It's so hard to resist them, isn't it? I just have to keep petting and snuggling!
