Are these "I want to breed"/REALLY needs a spay signs?

Molly has been honking at me and nipped me this morning. She honked/grunted and tried to nip be a little bit ago, too. She is 5-6 months old and goes in for her spay next Friday (Nov. 20th). She also keeps "dead bunny flopping" and rolling onto her back/side with her tail up when Morgan comes to lay down next to her.

Could she just be being odd because she wants Morgan to breed with her, even though he is neutered?

She's acting like she is "miss thang"/being a meany teenager, lol.

I'm nervous because I don't have good luck with female pets. I had a female rabbit once before - I got her when she was 5 months & had her spayed....and she didn't like me much either (lunged & grunted at me). I'll admit I am being cautious of her because she isn't spayed and she is female....I don't want to get bit really good and hold a grudge/feel like I made a mistake getting her and not a 4 year old already spayed bunny from the rescue.

Maybe I am being a worry freak, but I just hope her & Morgan bond. I know if they don't, then I have 2 other neutered males to try with.....but then Morgan is alone again, lol.

Um...Amy...that is NOT odd (the tail up stuff) - She not only wants Morgan to breed with her - she REALLY wants Morgan to breed with her. You have to remember that when Miss Bea was in the mood - she'd hump Tiny to let him know what she wanted...poor guy.

I'd give her some time and space till after her spay....she's gonna be a grumpy ornery girl and she may see you as a threat to her relationship with Morgan and keeping them apart.

I think once she's spayed and over it - she'll settle down a lot.

Thank you, Peg! She really beat the crap out of him the other night when she got loose...he has nip marks (now scars) along his sides/back.

I can't wait for her spay! I don't like grumpy nippy bunnies :grumpy:, they are supposed to be sweet :p, hehe.
