I'm wondering if anyone else's rabbit sometimes eats and/or drinks from the dish while lying down? I've caught my new boy doing this occasionally, whenever his head happens to be near the dish.

Casper does the same. He also cleans whilst lying down - licks his paws, cleans the ear that side, flops onto the other side and does the same. Nearly got a pic today but he jumped up and shook so it looked more like a crazy rabbit rodeo :p

LOL! It's odd to me because my two girls are little and, as such, must be on all four feet in order to eat/drink comfortably. The new guy is already two pounds heavier than the "bigger" girl and can apparently reach his dishes from a prone position.

As I read your reply, my guy is flopped on the cage floor with his face tipped upward because his chin is resting on the edge of his water dish. It doesn't look comfy, but I figure that he wouldn't choose such a position if he didn't like it. :?
