I need help finding a song with these lyrics:

"trains a coming.......took a pebble and I tossed it into the middle of the Rio Grande."

thats all i know off the top of my head.

I can toss a pebble into the Rio Grande for you if you'd like. I live about ten minutes north of it. :)

PS YES! We measure distance in time here in Texas. :biggrin2:

How true - unless I cross the border into Mexico (5 minutes away) - I'm 8 hours from getting out of Texas in any direction I go....

Edited to add: I can also toss stuff into the Rio Grande from way over here too....I think...not sure how long a drive it is - but not far!

HAHA sure! Take a pic too! That is so cool that you live next to it! The only big river I live near is the Colombia and that is over an hour away.

Ok, now it's my turn to ask the same question! Lol.

Ok, the song kind of follwows "Apache" by Sugarhill Gang, but intstead it goes

"What's upTacoma! What's up? Jump on it! Jump on it!"

more words that I don't know...

"What's upMiami! What's up? Jump on it! Jump on it!" And it says more large cities' names...I'm really stuck. I heard/danced to this song at my homecoming dance and I loved it! But I dont know who it's by or what it's called!

ETA: Ok, I found it....still don't know who sings it exactly and what it's called....???

ETA2: Ok, nvm. I found it!! :)

It often happens that I cannot remember a title and/or artist. I seem to always remember at least one phrase because the melody helps me remember. If you have the same problem, just try and remember a phrase. The go to Google, type the phrase and add the word "lyrics" after. The first result will most likely be the song you are looking for ;)

Ladybug, I have never heard that song, but I've heard of it. I would of known it was JB too once I listened to it, but the song title is actually in the Vid. title. ;) lol.

P.S. I like how everyone is using this to get help finding songs now, lol. It's actually a really good thing!
