Hey there!

I've been fostering two chinchillas for a month now, right now they areseperated until the boy (Butterball) recovers from his neuter.

The girl (Lilydale) is really shy. I would love some tips on how to gether to warm up to me. I was attaching an x-pen to her cage and sittingin there with her and letting her run around, but now she can escapebetween the bars.

Here's a pic of her during her escape ;):

Treats! Raisins. They looove sweets. Not too much because of the obvious sugar thing. Just don't try to grabthem when they are taking the treat because they will associate treatswith the "big bad hand". They will eventually see you as the "treatperson" and come up to you wanting them. And get used to being aroundyou and being handled.

Here are mine. Dusty and Nipper. Females. 15 years old.
