I worked last night but my shift ended at 2:30 am so some friends and I headed out to the casino.

I was pretty excited. I used a $21 "free cash" coupon that was sent to me in the mail and in all took home $372.42 in winnings. I didn't have to touch the actual cash I had taken there to use.

:)Not bad for a Saturday morning!

Yea, we frequent thecasino cruisesand the casinos in the actual cruise cruise ships.. never win a thing but its always a good time. Good thing about the casino cruises is the booze is free, so if you go broke you can still get your money back in your favorite drinks!

Congrats on winning!:D What all did you play?

When we went to AZ a year ago, we also took a trip to Laughlin, NV with our in laws (they love to gamble). It was fun. I mostly played slots. We also went to a casino at an Indian Reservation in AZ, it was huge.

ZooCrew-Haha, I love the Wheel of Fortune game! I did pretty good on it. There's Star Wars too that's pretty fun.

Angelnsnuffy - I think i have seent he star wars ones, the problem with me is i dont like to play games that i have no idea what i am doing, lol. When you read the little instruction things they are usually no help to me. I played the nickel slots a few times and blew through a 20 like it was nothing, after you play the max amount of bets , on the max amount of lines, It can cost 5.00 a spin  I would rather play the 5.00 wheel of fortunes at that rate, lol.

See Ro needs to get together for a casino trip, lol, so you all can teach me the new games so i am not so scared, lol

casinos are fun, but i tend to stay way from them. my mom dealt black jack for years, and working at the casino wasn't a fun experiance for her (left a nice bitter taste in her mouth), and growing up having your mom gone all evening and then come home, sleep, then complain about her job kinda gets you to not want to go to the casino.

plus i have played black jack since i was like 7, thanks to my mom. so it really doesn't seem fun to me anymore. . .

i will go once in a great while

The secret is so bet like 5-8 lines, then when it starts hitting, you bump it up a few lines, then take it back down. I am constantly changing the amount of lines I bet, changes it up a bit. I never max out the bets. Try that next time you go, hopefully it'llstart making more sense to you. I know I was confused at first too. I watched my husband first, he's pretty good at them;).

When ya coming back? You know I NEED to meet you :biggrin2:!

I went to Laughlin and gambled, even though I was 17, lol. My dad told me to put a penny in...so I did. A security guy walked by and didn't say anything to me, but asked my 23 year old step sister for her I.D. ....HAHAHA!

Cliff Castle in AZ? I forgot which other ones there are here, since I am not 21 yet, lol.

I work the casino at least once a year. It's volunteer work to raise money for our association. I like being a chip runner, so I can stay on the floor and watch all the action. Every so often, when a table runs low on chips, my job is to bring some more chips over to stock up that table. Of course there is a bodyguard that escorts me to the tables.

WOOO! Mr. Tough Guy :p. There is a mini solar key chain at my work that says that....now I'll think of you every time I hang it on a display, haha!

Crystal....woo! I bet we'd have a house by the time you visit next time. Just MAYBE I'd let you sleep in the bunny room with my loves, if you're lucky ;). It's cool though, I think you said you stayed in Mesa? I am about 3 hours from there...short drive in AZ!

They live in Tullason, Rob just told me, I forget the towns, lol.:D His brother lives near Gilbert.:)

I just play the penny slots. I dont know how to play any real games and I dont like betting on the nickel machines because I always spend more than I want.

Some of my big wins have been $180.00 on a $0.75 bet and then something similar but I dont recall exactly.

I kind of want to go back this weekend for my birthday but I dont know that I will.

My dad's lived in Vegas for over ten years now, and being 28, I've visited so many times, and not gambled once! I worry that I would get quickly WAY too addicted to it, lol. And I can certainly understand why people do! Would be neat to go in with $20 and come home with $200. :D
