daisy mae is adopted and to go home on july10th. but i dont think so hehe she came in from a home thathoused her with 2 males. so i took it as she was preggy. itold the adoptive parents to be that she was expecting but they stillwanted to adopt her. so hopefully that same thought stays even thoughshe is bout ready to have babies!

i went out for our usual morning cage cleaning, feeding watering andbehold there is white fur all over in the nesting box!! sothat confirms what i had thought. now the count down beginsagain to see when she has them. i will keep everyone postedon whats going on with her and share pictures when possible :)

Wow! Have fun with the babies and post pics. Sonow the adoptive parents have to wait until the babies are weaned? Orare they going to take mom and babies?

Virginia

i emailed and told her mom wouldnt be able toleave until the babies were weaned. i want to keep them hereto insure they are cared for properly and also so as not to stress outmom with a move. ill be keeping an eye on her to see whatcomes of it, i was hoping she wasnt preggy but looks asthough she is. im hoping also that she didnt getpregnant from skittles as he was around a 7 lb rabbit, and poor missdaisy is only around 3.5 maybe 4 lbs max!!

Im sure she'll be fine :) And I dont blame you on the baby thing. Hopefully they understand and will be willing to wait

Not to worry Kimthe babies will besmall If Skittles is indeedthe father of them , Bulletkindled 6 half dutch and she isa Nethi dwarf , they were tinybabies and are still yettiny at 5 weeks old , notmuch bigger than a 2 week old kit ,she should be fine , just keepan eye on her ,

Have the adoptive parents say they aregoing to have her spayed? andwhat of the kits do they wantthem or are you going to haveto rehome them also? Geesh Thisis the part of ResscueI hated the most , the notknowing who , what , where ,when and how. Itssurely a tough buisness certainly not forwhiners or the weak of heart !.

im still waiting to hear back from theadopters. they are on vacation so i may have to wait a fewweeks ugghhh. thats why they wanted to wait til july 10th topick up daisy. ill probably end up keeping the babies hereand rehoming them all. not unless they would like one of thebabies. as she plans on having daisy spayed. im so happy forthat. i really hope they dont back out if she does havekits. shes such a sweet and lovingrabbit.

yes this is the tough part!! its like you dont know if theyare preggy when they come in or by who or when it happend and if theyare what are you going to do if they are adopted.. then the babies andall the worries there. eekkkk lol time to start pulling hairlmao
