Do you think it would be okay to house my bunnies in a 2 car garage? Just keep their cages in there. They would get time in the yard every day. I would buy a few large fans for hot days, and there is a light in there. I was just curious because I need more space when I get my Brits. Does anyone on here have a nice tame Brit? I have heard from many references that they always have a skittish nature. I went to a rabbit show and no one liked handling them because they were wild. But there were only three anyway, and they may have been from the same person. I am just worried because I don't want people stereotyping my bunnies.

I've had to temporarily keep my rabbits in the garage when the temps got too low in the winter. Around here, I'd have to keep a portable A/C unit in the garage if I had them in there during the summer because the temps are in the 90's. Being enclosed, you'll need to keep the cages clean to keep any smell down.

We have a Brit and he is the sweetest thing! When we were taking him to shows we saw a lot of Brits who were kinda crazy. The judges were nervous about grabbing them. If you get it young and handle it a lot then you have a better chance of it being manageable. We found the females to be more unpredictable in behavior, but our males were all pretty nice...just our personal experience.

I would not put the rabbits in the garage if there was a car in there. If there is no car that will go in the garage while the rabbits are there it might be fine.
